Hen Yanni - Musician singer- songwriter ,DJ, actress and a model.
At the age of seventeen was offered the chance to start modelling, which immediately led to a successful modeling career in Paris, London, New York for major campaigns, such as Dolce and Gabbana, Kenneth Cole and Paul & Joe, as well as prestigious magazines like French Vogue, Italian Vogue, ID, The Face, and V Magazine, where she was photographed by renowned photographers Mario Testino, David Sims, and Craig McDean.
Her passion for acting led to formal studies at ‘Yoram Levinstein Performing Arts Studio’ and was quickly offered lead roles in several films and television seriese in Israel. Hen’s big screen appearance was in the dual lead role of the international feature film Melting Away (2012) where she portrayed an eighteen-year-old boy who transforms himself into a woman and takes a painful journey to return back to her parents.
Hen's work in Melting Away earned her a breakthrough performance award at the LGBT Tel Aviv International Film Festival, as well as a Best Actress Israeli Academy Award nomination. The movie got into more than two hundred film festivals around the world , and won more than 30 awards.
Hen is currently participating in the new feature film of Veronica Kedar (Israeli/German co-production), to be released in 2017
In 2013, Hen is featured in Sharon Eyal's (Bat Sheva dance company) and collaborated together on the project "House"
In 2014, Hen joined the Iconic Israeli band "The Witches" as lead singer and has recently started to expand her musical passion as a singer-songwriter, DJ and producer.
These days, Hen is working on her music solo project, new materials written, composed and performed by herself and Aviad Zinemanas. .
